IMPENDING FAMINE. ONLY 36 YEARS' SUPPLY. Press Association—By Telegraph—CopyrighT. MELBOURNE, October 30. The Forestry Commission report indicates that there .is an impending timber famine, the State having only 36 years' supply of timber.' Ail increased royalty is recommended, ar.d the prohibition of the -export of ironbarl; and tallow wood for 10 years.
