PROBABLE VISIT TO DUNEDIN. The Hon. .T. A .Millar telegraphed to the Prime. Minister on Tuesday urging''upon him the desirability of Dunediu being included in t.he itinerary of t.lio Australian squadron, which is coming to Wellington on November 17, and pointing out that tho squadron had never yet visited Dunedin waters, and thai, with the exception of the flagship Powerful, all the lxiats of the squadron could come up to Port. Chalmers. Yesterday Mr Millar received the following reply from Sir Joseph Ward at Stewart Island :— "I will communicate with the admiral through his Excellency tho (iovernor, and endeavour to arrange for the squadron to include Dunedin in its itinerary. 1 think it. is only fair that it should do £0."
