PIPERS AND DANCERS' ASSOCIATION.
(Per United Pbess Association.) . OHRISTOHWOH, October 26. _ A strong branch of the Pipers and Dancere' Association of New Zealand was formed on Saturday evening. The. meeting was held in the Scottisli Society's Hall, and 34 members were enrolled. A strong executive was set up,' : formed largely of local pipers and dancers. A PROTEST. (Per United Press Association!) INVEROAEGILL, October 26. At- the mceTTng of the Orepuki Atldetic .Society it wa& unanimously resolved that the_ society resents the action of the Pipers and Dancers' Association in usurping tho functions of the New Zealand Athletic Union, and that the society, refuse"' to recognise the authority of the Pipers and Dancers' Association. .
