HARRIERS.

The Southern Bible Class Harriers hid an enjoyable run from St. Clair baths on Saturday. Dawson and Bard were sent off with the bags, and laid a trail over tlw hills at. die back of OargiU's Castle. At tho outset of tho run the pack divided, and tlio swifter division' remaining behind, managed to' secure the wrong trail, which led them into the vicinity of Green Island so were late on arriving home. After tho run the members returned to the Greencliffo Tea Rooms, where they were hospitably treated' by the club committee. On Saturday afternoon the Dunedin Anglican Harriers ran from the St. Clair School Gymnasium. H. D. Bedford anil A. C. Smith laid the trail along tho second beach, and climbed the' track leading to Cargill's. Keeping to the left of CargiU's Ca6tio, and skirting tlte corner of the St. Clair Golf Linla, tho trail kept close to tho odgo of the hill till above the caves, when it struck off to the right, and, passing two or three farms and traversing ploughed fiekU and other broken country it came out on the roa<l leading dowji to the Groen Island Beach. Having followed this path or. to the beach, the trail kept, to the sand for a little before it struck across the sandhills, and after some fairly steep climbing it found itself on the hill above Mr Leo Smith's property. From this point the homeward journey wa6 made along tlio hills to Mr Sidev's, and finished with a sprint down Forbury road back to the gymnasium. After the run the deputycaptain kindly provided the members with refreshments.'
