BeefHinds, 3£d; fores, 2jd" Tho balance of tbfe present debentures of the Dunedin and Kaikorai Tram Company (Ltd.), £13,000, bearing G per cent., are redeemable on the Ist October next, and tho secretary of the company advises that the new issue of £12,000 at 5 per cent, to replace them has been considerably over-subscribed. The Auckland Gas Company's half-yearly meeting was heid on Wednesday. A dividend oE S!i per cent, was declared. It was resolved to increase the capital to £500,000 by the issue of 50,000 new shares of £5 Association,
