CHRISTCHURCII, May 13. A con Coroner, of head touchers of secondary schools was opened this evening, when Mr C. E. Bevan BrOwn (head master of tho Boys High School) was elected president. Papers wero read by Mr Hogben (Inspoclor-general of Schools) op observations on his trip Home last year, and by Mr J. W. Tibbs, of the. Auckland Or am in ai: School, on some criticisms of the present educational system.
