NAPIER, Soptcmbbr 6. A land sale of suburban residential siio3 at Hastings took pjace to-day, when record prices for that clr.ss of property wcro obtained. Nineteen and a-quarter acres wore disposed of for a total of £5338, or an average, of about- £2£o per acre. Six sections aggregating slightly over an aero in extent clow to the business part of tho town brought over £1000 aJi acrc.
