Now South .Wales, Victoria, New Zealand, the Transvaal, Canada, and England competed. , The' local team, fired under the most favourable weather conditions, and scored 900 points. Victoria made 890. Tho oversea results are expectod to arrive tomorrow.

The Wellington Post and Telegraph Rifles fired to-day. in a 10-man match against tho postal teams of London, Montreal, Natal, Melbourno, and Sydnoy. The local men fired in heavy rain, and compiled a total- of 838, at 200, 500, and 600 yards, seven shots at each range.
