DRAINAGE BOARD REPORTS.

The following roports'will be submitted at to-days meeting of the board:'.— The 'Works Committee reports:—The engineer has been authorised to invite tenders fbr the reticulation of portions of Jetty and Vogel streets, City. Mr J. Graham's application for the ue® of the board's sand scoup and for permission to talce sand from the board's pit principally for contract 128,-Law-yer's Heart outfall, has been'-granted subject to a loyalty of Gd pet load.'s)Applications, to be considered at the next. meeting of the board, have been invtteJ for the position of junior in the draughtsmen's office. Accounts amounting to £988 17s si) wero examined and pas6ed for payment. Tho Finance Committee reports that accounts amounting to £130 19s 2d were examined _ and passed for payment and ohtqiies signed. Since the last meeting of the committee the sriin of £40 Is Gd "had ueen' paid into the credit of the aggregate fund and £125 14 S 5d into the credit of ■the trust account. Tho pass books show the following credits:-Aggregate fund, £4918 17s •7d; trust account, £411 10s Id.
