OTAGO EARLY SETTLERS' ASSOCIATION.

Six tenders for the erection of the Estdy Settlors' Memorial Hall were opened, and. the lowest—£3sß7, from Mt Orr Campbell—was accepted. : ;

Tfce.Sejietary reported feat arrangements for the social reunion on the 17th were well in band, that a meeting of Mes on the 11th ■would'boi advertised, and that he.had communicated with the Scottish societies of Dnnedin with regard to celebrating in a fitting •maimer the diamond jubilee of' Otago next March.,and that later on arrangements would be made for a meeting of representatives from all public bodies willing to tako -part. . It was' resolved that a letter be sent to Mr and Mirs J. B.
