The Paymaster-general wrote advising that -the sum of £128 93 2d, lieing subsidy under " The Local Bcdioa Fina,n«) and Powers Act,' ISBu," and eeotiom 9 of " Tho Appropriation Afft, 1906," had bocn remitted to the credit, of tho board.—Received. John Le Pfgo wroto oslting pe.rmis3ion to cut down , tho rise in front of sections 75 and 70, block 111, to tie level of tbo road, and promised that fro would finish the road off iii a proper -and workmanlike manner. — Declined. In anemer to a letter received from tho bowd, tlio secretary of tlio Ancwson's Bay Lawn Tennis Chib advisacli that his o!-ub had no objeot-ion to the board's taking a drain through tho club's property, provided the asphalt courts were net cut up.—Received. chhbhal.
