OPENING UP NATIVE LANDS.

Ifc is understood that teases of Native lands, totalling 30,000 acres, in the Waiapu district, have been rccenily signed under the system .that was outlined in tho Financial Statement. Such leases would otherwise have been submitted to public auction.
