At tho Addington liw stock market today tile yardinps of stock were not quite so largo as of late, but there was a good attcndiHice. Beef sold nt kite rales, and prime fat lambs were ralher firmer. The fat sheep market opened well for prime wethers and ewes, but towards the end old ewes showed a further decline. Dr.cou pigs were easier, while porkers and stores nic-t with a good demand. There was a poor salo for store cattle, and a good demand for the belter class of dairy cows. A small entry of store sheep wns made, up mostly oi wethers and hoggets, and they' met with a good sale. Among tho lots" that changed hands were: Wethers. 135 at 15s, 173 at lls 3d, 44 nt 13s Gd. 107 at 12s Gd. 38 at 12s 7d; hoggets, 543 at 14s. 42 (ewe) nt 13s 4d, 50 at lis Gd, 47 at 12s; ewes, 51 two-tooths at 18s 9d. Gl aged at lis. The entry of fat lnmhs wns smnller than of late, and Wit few of them were really prime. These sold rather better than last week, while tliero was no change in unfinished sorts. 'Pegs made 18s to 19s 7d; mediumweight, 15s to 17s Cd: lighter, 10s to 14s Gd. ThoTe v>as a moderate yarding of fat sheep, a fair proportion boing prime, nnd tho ranaiiidor backward Eoits and old ewes. Prime sheep sold well, wethers boing firmer, but old owes towards th.- end of the sale wore difficult to dispose of except at lower rates. Tho range of prices wns: Extra prime wethers, to 31s: prime. 20s to 2ts l()d; lighter, lGs Sd to 19s 7,1; prime ewes. 19s to 235; medium, 15s to 18s Gd; uged, 10s to Ms Gd; merino wethers, 9s 10d to 15s. Tlure were 187 hend oi fat cuttle penned, the bulk being little more thnn forward stores. There was a fair sale at lnte rates. Steers brought £G to £11 15s; heifers, £5 to ±'G 17s Gd; cows, £3 15s to £8 17s 6d; — equal to 22s Gd to 24s Gd for prime and 20s to 2f2s for medium per 1001b. A good yarding of veal calves sold it 7s Gd to 455, and up to £3 for heavyweights. There wns a small mixed entry of etoro cattle, and practically no business was done, excopt at prices from 20s to 455. Dairy cows met with a fair sale, good sorts selling nt £7 to £9 15s, and others at £3 10s to £6 10s. There was a moderate entry of pigs, porkers and stores selling well, and baconers showed a dccline. Baconers medc 45s to 52s (equal to 45d to 4Jil per lb); porkers, 30s to 42s (oqual to 5Jd to Gd per lb); medium stores, 183 to 2Gs; and wcaners, Gs Cd to 15s. Two Yorkshiro choppers, 15 months old, sold at £5 10s each.
