Oitr Alexandra correspondent states that liobort Hill, a very oid resident of Alexandra, died on Monday night at the age oj 75 years. He was troublod with heart aflec- i tion, and had been oonfined to his homo for 1 soroo considerable time. Ho was one, of the early pioneers, and mil be specially remembered by tho old identities. Miss Boss, who has been a teacher in the Alosgicl School for more than 10 years, waa entertained at a social on tho eve of her, depurturo for Gavershain. Mr Pindor (rector of tlio High School) and tho ohninoan of the School Committeo (Sir Smith) made .the presentations.
