BANKING RETURNS.
Press Association-By Telegraph-Copyright ' SYDNEY, April 27. The New South Wales quarterly hanking returns indicate a decided expansion in business. .Current accounts totalled £19,034,000, an increase. of £2.957,000 compared with the previous March quarter. This item has never before readied more than £17,000,000. The total deposits are £41,800,000, an increase of £2,888,000. The deposits had never previously touched more than £40,000,000. Tho note circulation increased; by 15 per cent, and advances by 7 per cent.
