Mulct lias resigned the position of chairman of directors of Iho Haul; of New Zealand as from March 31 insl., file close of (lie financial year of the liani;, hut will continue to act as a director. It is understood that lhe s state of Mr Mulct's health and Ihe fact that ho intends to leave the colony an a visit to Europe towards the end of the present: year have led him to fake this step. Mr Malct has occupied the office of chairman for over live years, and that .of director for over eight: years.
