EASTER HOLIDAYS.
WELLINGTON RESIDENTS FLOCKING TO CtIRISTCHURCII. (i?r.B Uxited Press Association.) WELLINGTON, March 25. It is expected that the passenger traffic between Wellington and Lyttelton this week will be exceptionally large. On Thursday evening six steamers will leave Wellington for LyUolloii—viz., Tak-apuiia, Mararoa, Rotomahana, Tarawcra, Monowai, and Victoria. Tho holds of some of tho steamers have been fitted up for tho accommodation of passengers, and a modesty estimate of the number of people who will go .foulh by those steamers on Thursday evening for the Easter celebrations in Cllristchurch is well over 2000.
