FIRE BRIGADES COMPETITIONS
THE CHALLENGE SHIELDS. (Per United Press Association.) CHRISTCIIURCII, March 25. There were four challenge shields competed for nt the recent tiro brigades' competitions, three of which were presented by Messrs Shand, Mason, and Co. (Loudon) for the highest aggregate number of points, for the high-pressure events, and for the manual, engine event for five men.
