MR RODDIE AT XASEBY. (From Our Own* Correspondent.) „ XASliliY. March 25. Mr ,Tamer, Bodilie, tho delegate of the I*armers t' 11 ion, addrei-'-od a fairly large audienro of farmers and townspeople in the town Hall on Saturday night, on tho subject of the laud proposals of the Ministry of the day. Mr Robert .Inhnstcn, chairman of the Manioloto County Council, presided. Tho speaker was accorded a most attentive hearing. I'ho address was on similar lines to that delivered at Waikouaili, and already reported:, aml at- its close Mr U. W.tilendining (Kokonga) moved and Mr George Lindsay (Wedderburu) seconded tho following- motion, which was carried unanimously —"That a Land Bill which docs not provide (or the granting cf the freehold will not l.ve acceptable to this meeting." A hearty vole of thanks was unanimously accorded Mr Boddic for bis lucid and instructive address.
