Acting I'vime Minister, loft, OhWetoimrch by the 8.10 a.m. train with tho view of inspecting tho propofwl loop-lina of railway between Darlield and Norwood, via- Ureondale. Ho was accompanied by Messrs 0. Lewis, M H R (i. Witty, M.if.R., and C. A. C. llardv M.H.R.On the way. the Minister inspected the proposed goods station-and loading bank at_ Sandy Kisolls, and tins Kinvce station building, which is sadly out of date. Ho promised to look into both matters and eee if tho .requests of the settlors could be given effect to. The Acting Prime Minister left for ■Wellington by tho evening steamer.
