The meetings throughout the day were led by Staffcaptain Lonnie, who delivered a forceful address at the 11 o'clock service, taking tho subject, of Abraham's offering of his son Isaac, as bring- tho best gift he could give, and that we too should give God our best, whether of time, money, or ability. The afternoon service was one of praise, and was heartily enjoyed. A well-attended service at night n-as addressed by Mrs Staffcaptain Lonnie, who based her remarks on "Bo not. deceived, God is not, mocked, for whatsoever a man sowetli that shall he also reap," drawing from her well-informed mind instances coining tinder her own observation of people reaping in tin's life much cf what they hud sown in earlier years. Some 12 or more came forward during; thn day, ,pro-fc-ssing, conversion, and some for consecration. To-night, tho City Brass Band is advertised to give a programme, when a ''good lime" is promised. Financially, too, tho day was good, record collections being given. The cause is good, being in aid of local work. The festival closes to-morrow night.
