MUNICIPAL NEGLECT.
TO THE SDITOE. Sir,—About u month ago a portion of the footpath in lower part of this street slipcd in front; of an old shanty. Up to the present nothing has been done to repair panic, exccpt. placing a few old planks to , cover the hole. Those planksarcasourocof danger. Several minor accidents having ocrurred, I suppose tlio -corporation is • waiting till a eerious one takes pVico licforo taking action.
