The committee of tho Wellington Boxing Association to-night decided to nominate Sir Joseph Ward for re-election as patron of the New. Zealand Association, the : Hon. IT. l'\ Wigram as president, and Mr \V7 G. Atack'as secretary and treasurer. : Tho- Canterbury Association having stated that contests wero likely to falto place in Christchurcli to decide who ,'is, entitled to the. iitlc of light-weight. champion of New Zealand, the Wellington Committee, expressed the opinion that Ilock Keys was entitled to be considered tho champion liglit-woiglit.
