(Feb. Uxited Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, -March 20, His Excellency tliti Governor arrived in Christcliureh from Wellington to-day. During tho morning he presented the l'lunkol Shield to Iho Council of the .Yew Zealand Cricket Association, and in iho evening he paid a visit, to the International Inhibition. To-morrow morning lio will leavo by the early train tor Iho West Coast, and will reach Ilokitika at .10 o'clock in tbo evening. I'Voiii Ilokitika his Excellency will visit Mahinapua and Ross, and will continue his journey down iho. coast to the l?ranz Joseph glacier. Ho returns to Ilofcilika on March 27. and will ho present at a Masonic meeting in iho evening. He will reach Christcliurch again on the evening of March 29, and will return lo Wellington the following day. While in (lie North Island his Excellency proposes lo have three or four days' deor-stalking at. I'e Awaiiel and will leave again for Christcliurch on Ihe evening of April 13, in order io he present at Ihe closing of the Exhibition on the, 151 h. On April 16 Lord Phinkct will leavo for Duncdin for tho purpose of making a tour through Central Olago, and tho following provisional programme has been arranged: — April 18th: Duncdin to Alexandra by rail, stopping at Hindon, Middlemareh, Hydo, Kokonga, Eanfurlv, Wcddorbitrn, and Omaltau. April 20: Alexandra, to Cromwell by coach. , April 21: Cromwell lo Pembroke by coach. April 22: At Pembroke, Lake Wanaka. April 22: Pembroke to Quecnstown, slop-
ping at Arrowtown., April 2\ antl 25: At Quecnstown. April 26: Quecnstown to Kingston by boat : Kingston to Ltimsdcn by rail, stopping at (larston, Athol, and Lowther. April 27: Lutnsden to Invcreargill. stopping at Dipton, Lintehills, Winlon, Makarcwa, and Waikiwi.
