A BOY DROWNED.
(Pi?. United Fbiss Association.) WANGANUI, March SO. A lad, 12 years of ago, the son of Mr Preston, licensee of Ihe Aramoho Hotel, was drowned this morning in Ihe river near the railway bridge. Tie fell into the stream while attempting to catch drift-wood which was coming down in iho flood.
