AUSTRALIAN' FOOTBALL LEAGUE. (Per United Press Association.) AUCKLAND, March 19. The report presented to tho Australian Football League's annual mooting slated that a tom- of Australia would be.undertaken in 1908. During; 1-he 1907 season rep. matches would bo played at Waihi, Kcw- Plymouth, Wellington, and Gisbornc.
KAIKORAI CLUB. At a meeting of the committee an invitation was reeoived from Ihe Waitahuna Cilib to play a match at Waitahuna at Easier. It. was decided to decline to play in the meantime. A letter from tlio Public Swimming Baths Committee was received. A circular from the secretary of llic Exhibi-t-ion ro football carnival between the 6th and 13th prox. was received, and it ■was decided not to send a- team to Christchurch. The Forbury Park Company wrote granting the use of the park for practice, Messrs A. M'Donald, .T. Annit, E. Omand. and 1\ Cubilt were appointed a sul)-committce to receive ihe Timaru Star team at Easier time. Mr J. Torrance was appointed club captain. The secretary was instructed to apply for 10 paid-up shares in the Kaikorai Ground Company, and also to procure footballs for the teams.
GREEN ISLAND ASSOCIATION" CLUB. The annual mooting of tho Green Island Association Football Clnb was held on Monday night, Mr W. .Martin presiding. Tho annual report and balance sheet showed the elul) lo be in a- very satisfactory condition. There is a credit balance of £2 ss, but there are a number of subscriptions stiil outstanding. The election of office-bearers was taken, with the following result-:—President. .Mr W. M'Donald (ro-elected); vice-presidents-Messrs O'Holloran, W. G. Smith, .1. Dempster, W. Moroland. A. Houlston. J. O'C'onnoll; secretary and treasurer. Mr W. Martin: delegates to 0.F.A., }lessi\> A. Love and W. Martin; General CommitteeMessrs Irvine, Grant, Falconer, Love, Marshall, and Brown; practice captain, M*r J. Grant; delegate to Sports . Protection Society, Mr T. Irvine. A special vote of thanks was passed lo the retiring secretary (Mr T. Irvine). It was decided to give the delegates a free hand in regard to file notices of motion in favour of the registration of players, The. Chairman congratulated Messrs Grant and' Marshall on tho way in which they had upheld the honour of the club in recent- intcrprovincial matehes. It- was arranged to hold the opening match on Anniversary Day.
