When tho aggregates were made up it was found that Wolls (Southland) and Bradley (Dunedin)' were leading with 390 points. The scores of the others in leading positions were:—Munro 389, Yco 388, Burford 388, Feist 387, A. M'Kenzie 386, Ayson 386, Crow (Chorlton) 384, Chapman 384, Sonntag 382,. Kind (Christchureh) 382, M'Calley 351, Martin 381. • • Tho wholo of tho 359 who fired in the championship were divided into two sections for a match, 10 shots at 700 yards, which was started about half-past 11. Bradley and Wills were in tho first section, tho former getting down among the first squad. Tho weather was beautiful, and thcro was an absenec of wind, the only thins that marred tho conditions bejnj a glaring light. Bradley shot steadily, getting 43, making an aggregate of 433. Wills got a miss with his second shot, and made a total of 36, bringing his aggregate up to 426. After lunch the second section went, down, but none of tho leaders shot till after 3. Most of the marksmen appeared to under.jiidgo the result of the heat, which had. now become severe, and which resulted in the shots dropping low. Humphries (Taranaki) put up 42, making his aggregate 419. Sonntijg, Oiling, Chapman, and Avson next fired, putting on 36, 37, 34, and 33 respectively, and putting themselves out of tho 'running. Burford, M'Kenzie, and Munro were the only ones who had anychanoe oc displacing Bradley, as M'Calley, the Australian crack, finished with 21, and an aggregate of 402, Yco only got 30. Mugridgo wins the Snow Cup with 65. Colour-sergeant M'Kcnzie wins .the Colonial Ammunition Cup for tho agftropato in tho Championship and Service Matches, and Private Bnrford (Timaru) wins Colonel Smith's Cup for the aggregate in four matches.

During the afternoon tho Cndet matchcs were commenced, the Defcncc Cadet teams trying conclusions. The Wanganui Cadets' No. 1 team won with 244 points, Christ Collogo being second with 243. Fourteen teams competed.

The Public Schools Cadets Match, 100 yards, was won by Cadet Barclay (Waimate) with 32 points, and ho takes £4 4s. Nicholas (Waimato) was second with 32, and he wins £2 2s. Forty-eight other prizes were awarded.
