The decision of tlio Marine Court in respect to the occurrence between the Natono and tho Cobar, neanWnrd Island, on 12th iiisr., when a collision was narrowly averted, wr.s given this morning. Tho coiirfc found that tho occurrence hud endangered the safety of both vessels, and was due to tho master o£ tho Xatouo failing to keep out of tlio way of tho Cobar in accordance with article 19 of the regulations for preventing collisions at sea. Tho master of tho Natono (Captain Corieli) was censured, and ordered to pay the costs of tho inquiry (£ll 17s). The court wss'also of opinion that masters (if ferry vessels iu harbour should always he in charge of the bridge.
