SEQUEL TO A TRAM ACCIDENT.
MOTORMAN CHARGED WITH MANSLAUGHTER. (Per TJhited Press Association.) AUCKLAND, January 26. At the coroner's inquest to-day touching the death of the old inaii named John, (iraydon, who died from 'injuries sustained in a. tram car accident on Thursday evening, fho jury in its verdict expressed the opinion that; the speed of tlio car was excessive and dangerous. As a result a. motonnan named Herbert Slraker was arrested by the police on a, charge of manslaughter. Bail was granted, accused in £50 and two sureties of £25 each.
