(Received July 7, at 9.5 a.m.) Seventy-eight Chinese have- applied for repatriation from the Kami, and a number of others, owing to the discontent aroused by the interpreter, have since been deported as undesirables. LONDON, July 8. (Received July 9, at 0.27 a.m.) Renter's Johannesburg correspondent states that the city has received the Government's Chinese repatriation policy with imperturbility, not anticipating that it will affect the supply of labour.
