polo tournament. (Per United Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, March 16, The final matches of the polo tournament took place this afternoon in good weather. The ground was in fit condition for play, though dead for making fast hits or the fleetest galloping. There was a good attendance. In the final for the Saville Cup, Rangifikei defeated Wellington A by 11 to 2, and won the Cup. The winners had the game all their own way, and never allowed their opponents io score till the last spell, when Johnston obtained 2 goals—the first after a fine run by Skerrett. In (be Handicap Cup finals Hawke's Bay (handicap 4) heat Christcliurch A (handicap 12) by 13 goals to nil. Tho Hawke's Bay team excelled in every department of the game, and thoroughly outclassed their opponents, who made, a'stubborn fight for it.
