Plaintiff, who acted as contractor and architect, agreed to completo a shop for £580, there being; no provision for extras. These ran into £391, of which the defendant had paid £214, but disclaimed liability for tho balance. The magistrate held that the law did not allow a contractor to escape liability on tbo ground that ho had failed to comprehend tho specifications. Plaintiff was nonsuited.
