SCARCITY OF LEATHER.

(Received Feb. 14, at 10.25 p.m.) Owing to tho great scarcity of leather boot manufacturers are unable to secure supplies, and find it impossible to meet contracts, except at a heavy loss. The position is the worst that bus been experienced for 50 years.
