KAIKORAI SCHOOL BAZAAR.

; A very enthusiastic gathering of residents of Roslyn and Knikorai Valley took place in tho local school last night for the purpose of r making arrangements for holding a bazaar and hobby, show early-in Majch next, to provido funds-to build a new gymnasium for tho .Knikorai school.- Mr George Moir (chairman of tho ICaikorai School Committee) occupicd tho chair, and explained tho purpose of tno gathoring. Jlr E. Sunderland was appointed secretary, and Mr AUnutt treasurer. The following committees were then set up to m'ako tho necessary arrangements for tho bazaar, and the willingness with which tho ladies promised their assistance sjives good assuranco bf success to the praiseworthy effort:— Parents' stall (plain sowing): Mrs F. Wilkinson (convener), Mesdames Stark, JY AVhyte, W. AUnutt, S. M.' Park, Bell. Patterson, D. Scott, Gregory, Calder, J. M. Wilson, and W. Wilson. Teachers' stall: Mrs M'Ewen (convener) and lady teachcrs. Fancy work stall: The lady teachers. Ex-pupils' doll and toy stall: Miss Stark (convener), Misses A. Wilson, Whyte, AUnutt, -Ferry, C. Wilkinson, and Morton. Ladies' Gymnastic Club stall: Miss Hauna. and tho ladies of tho club. Refreshment stall: Mrs W. Stevenson, along with Mesdames Marksby, Kemnitz, and tho Misses Washer and Crombie, a.nd Messrs W. Allnutt and T. Miller. Lolly stall: Misses Allnutt and G. Ferry. Flower, stall; Miss W. Whyte (convener) and Misses E. Scott, Callender, ana E'. Mathoson! Jumblo stall: Mr J. Fitzgerald and stall, along with scholars. These committees were all vested with power to add to theit numbor.
