TEACHERS' SUPERANNUATION BILL.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) WELLINGTON, September 11.
Tho report of the Education Committee on tho Teachers' Superannuation Bill having been completed, it was intended to present it to the House to-morrow, but tho committco has now decided to sit again to reconsider ono of tho'clauses, and the report will probably not mako its anpearanco till later in tho week. From tho remarks mado by Mr James Allen at a meeting this evening, it appears tijo committee has altered tho Government bill and improved tlio position of old teachers and females under tho scheme.
