A SAD SUICIDE.

LONDON, August 7. (Received August 8, at 12.20 p.m.) lit'connection with the British naval manoeuvres now proceeding a boiler explosion occurred on the cruiser Blake. One man was killed and six injured.

Captain Dodgsou, commander of tho Kingstown destroyer flotilla, committed suicide. He had suffered from an old wound in the head.
