(Per United Press Association-.) NAPIER, April 28. Tho inquest .on two infants found in a pillow-case in tho harbour on Buster Sunday wa. resumed to-day. The medical evidence was to tho effect that there was nothing to indicate whether the deceased were stillborn or not. There were no signs of violence or suffocation. A verdict was returned in accordance with the medical evidence. NEW PLYMOUTH, April 23. An inquest was held this morning on the body of Percy Goorje, who succumbed to the injuries • he sustained by a fall from his bicycle yesterday. He was 55 yeaw of age, and married. A verdict of "Accidental death" was returned. •WELLINGTON, April 28. At tho Supreme Court John Lennon was found guilty of forgery ami false pretences, and sentence was deferred. Joseph Keen and Leonard llcyrick were chcrqed with a'sault and robbery'at Palmereton North on March 24. By direction of the beneli iieyrick was acquitted. Keen was found guilty and remanded for sentence. CimiSTciußCH, April 28. At tho Magistrate's Court John Doylfl was fined £100 for knowingly carrying ami removing l from tho Mokoia. at Lyttelton, on April 24, opium suitable, for smoking with intent to evade the prohibition against its importation.
