A CORRECTION.
TO THE EDITOR. ' Sir,—l am informed that a city councillor baa publicly stated that I had nothing to do with the matter of reporting the bad chaff at the tramway stables, to which I referred at my meeting on Monday evening, ns reported by you, and that the matter had boon reported by the town clerk. Permit me .to say that Cr M.'Donald is wrong. As stated by me I proceeded to tho tramway stablon and secured, samples of the ohaff. I then obtained samples from Mr Bacon and took these to the Tramway Committee rooms, where tho chaff was examined by the members of the committee.—l.am etc., G. liAWREKCE.
