(Received April 16, ai 8.30 a.m.) • A meeting of tho Committee of Tattersall'a Club resolved that all wagers on Maori Chief lor the Onkparinga meeting, arid all other local events, are declared oft, and that all wagers on Evening Wonder made prior to 10 a.m. on April 8 are also declared off. YEARLINGS FOR NEW ZEALAND. A-Sydney cablegram'says:—At the yearling sales, Mr J. P. Reid, of New Zealand, bought the Wallace—Eleusis colt for 80gs, and Mr G-. F. Moore tho Haut Brion—Rufllno colt for 70gS. A match for £100 'aside lias "been made by. Messrs J. A. Buckland and V. Harris to trptl their horses—St. Simon and Victory, ll—over two miles, and is to take place on Monday next. The match arose in connection with the Addington Handicap, which was run on Wednesday lit the New Zealand Metropolitan track; Both bors-s met in tho race, and St. Simon won, but Victory ll's sulky was smashed when the latter apparently possessed a good chance in the race.
