FOOTBALL.
The third annual meeting of the Sawyers' Bay Association Football Olub was held in tho Public Hall, Sawyers' Bay, on Thursday Inst. Mr F. Field (yicc-prcsidont) occupied tho chair, and there was a very fair number of members preswit. In moving the adoption of the annual report, the Chairman referred in glowing terms to tho succcss of the No. 1 team, and also to tho spread of tho gamo in the Bay. The balance sheet showed a credit balance of S4- 190 6d. The following ofTioo-bearers were elected:—l'rosident, Mr C. G. V. Leijon (re-oleetod); vicepresidents—Messrs F. Fiold, A. Haynes, E. Clemison, Captain Thomson (re-elocted), and Messrs Gordon M'Kinnon and .T. Manning; secretary and treasim; 1 , Mr Angus; auditor and delegate to 0.F.A., Mr W. P. Miller; custodian, Mr D. Ross; practice captain, Mr C.'Johnson; deputy, Mr A. R. Chisholm; Selection Comniiftee—Messrs P. Ross, R. Pollock, and E. Johnson. It was decided to open tho season on Saturday, Wth March. A vote ot thanks was accorded the Hall Company for the use of the ball rooms at reduced prices, and also to the Otago Daily Times for publishing reports of matchcs, etc. After a good deal of other business had been transacted the meeting clcscd with the usual vote of thanks to tho chair.
