CASUALTIES.
(Per United Press Association.) WESTPORT, January 31. Mrs Elford, a resident of Karamca, was found dead on the road, apparently thrown from her horse. A lad, 11 years of age, named Percy Jones, was brought to town from Ophir yesterd.ty and taken to the hospital; in consequence of having received a pellet from a pea rifle in the back while out rabbit- Enooting with another hoy. Jones was in the act of stooping when tlio other boy's rifle by some moans went off. The .bullet has not yet been extracted.
