REDUCTION OF POSTAGE. Prom the Ist January, 1901, the postage on letters and letter-garde for delivery within the colony or for United Kingdom, Canada, India, Cape Colony, and practically all other places in the British Empire, except Australia, will betel' each half-ounce or fraction thereof Id. For foreign countries rate will remain at 2Jd, and for Australia at 2d. PARCELS. Postage on parcels for United Kingdom will, from same date, be as follows: —For parcels not over 3lb, Is; over 3lb and up to 7lb, 2s; over 7lb and up to lllb, 3s. EXPRESS DELIVERY AND SPECIAL MESSENGER SERVICES . Will alto be established as from Ist January next. . The express delivery will cover letters and parcels not exceeding 3lb in weight, for which an extra fee of 6d has been paid, and delivery will be made on receipt at this and the following offices: —AshbuTtou, Auckland, Bleu- , heim, Bluff, Christohurch, Feildiner, Oisborne, Sore, Greymouth, Hawcra.
