Messrs Donald Reid and, Co. report having held their weekly sale of grain and produce at their stores on Monday, when pricea ruled as ; follows:— Oats.—There is a fair demand for all good ; to prime feed in sound condition'. Inferior and j musty samples are plentiful, and are difficult to quit. We quote: Prime milling, Is 6Jd to I Is 7d; good' to best ifeed, Is 6d to'ls 65d; I medium, Is 4d to Is sd; -inferior, Is to Is 8d per bushel (sacks extra). ' I Wheat.—ln milling..Quality...prime samples only are in request, medium sorts being with- ' out much demand. Fowl wheat is scarce, and , meets with ready sale. Wheat.—The market continues quiet. Prime samples have a little attention. Fowl feed is in good demand. Medium quality is, however, neglected. Prime velvdt and Tuscan, 2s Gd to 2s 7d; medium, 2s 2d to 2s sd; fowl feed, 2 to 2s Id (bags in). : Potatoes.—The market is much better supplied, as consignments are-arriving- more freely, consequently prices are very much lower. Prime kidneys are worth to-day from £3 15s to £410s (bags in). Chaff —Prime oaten sheaf is in good demand, and meets a ready sale from £'212s 6d to £2 15?
