VOLUNTEERS.
A preliminary moating of volunteers was held in tho Garrison Hall last evening to consider the advisability of reviving tho Otago Rifle Association meeting. Captain Morris was voted to the chair. Promises of support to the number of 120 were received from the various corps in the district. A committee was appointed to make arrangements for a general meeting of intending competitors, to be held in the Gannon Hall nest Monday.
