CASES OF SUPPOSED SUICIDES.
(Per Uniteii Prkss Association.) AUCKLAND, January 9. The body of E. A. Burton, missing since December 20, has been discovered in the bush in the Mount Eden district, with the throat cut. A razor was found close to the MARTINBOROUGH, January 9. Last night Constable May received- news that a man named Archibald M'lntosh was missing at White Rock, and that it was feared that lie had committed suicide whilst suffering from delirium tremens. Early yesterday morning his clothes and dog were found on the beach near .a lagoon, but although search was made nc sign of the body was found. Constable May has gone : out" to make further search. M'lutosh \i : a nephew of the l.'ite Captain M'lutosh, of the ill-fated s.s. Wairarapa, His relatives are supposed to be living at Banks Peninsula.
