GREEN ISLAND v. ST. CLAIR. A closely-contested game was played on the St Clair Bowling Green last Saturday. Tho match wa-a oventiially won by St. Clair with 6 points to the good. Young (s) .. 82 88 THE TOURNAMENT AT CHRISTCHURCH. It wa3 hoped that the Union Company would be able to put on a steamer for the convenience of bowlers attending the forthcoming tonrnament in Christchurch, leaving Dunedin on Friday afternoon. The Company have, however, found it impossible to do this, and those who wish to avail themselves of tho special cheap fares for bowlers by that route will have to travel either by the Waihora on Thursday or the Moura, which sails on Sunday afternoon. Bowlors proceeding by train will have to get from the secretary of the club they bolong to a certificate of membership to cnablo them to obtain tickets at the reduced fare.
