NORTHERN MAORI DISTRICT ELECTION.

WELLINGTON, December 21.
Mr Hone Heke has been nominated again for the Northern Maori electoral seat, which became vacant through his bankruptcy, since annulled. The other candidates are: Haparata Henare and Kiri Paraia te Whareumu (both of Hokianga), Kparaima Mutu Kapa and Riapo Puhipi (both of Mongonui), and Poaka Paroro (of Wairoa. The election will take place on the 9th prox.
