WELLINGTON, December 21.
The annual meeting of the Gear Meat Compnny was held to-night. The Chairman, m li 13 address, in moving the adoption of the rerort and balance sheet, congratulated shareholders on the result of the' year's operations. The markets, lie observed, have been good—in fact, with the exception of wool, the returns have been above the average; but the outlook for the future is not so promising, a. dividend, of 10 pel cent, per annum was declared.
