The annual meeting of the T.W.O.A. for tho election of officers was held last evening, Mrs North (president) presiding-. The attendance was somewhat small. The following office-bearers were elected:--President, Mrs Salmond; vice-president. Mrs Ennson : treasurer, Mrs Duke; secretary. Sister Ruth; board—Mesdames M'Leod, Glendimug, Sundstrom, Vanes, Pirn, Hcrcus, "Wheeler, Gilray, Misses Burns, Reid, Brown, and Hare. The Chairwoman explained that although Sis--lor Ruth was secretary,.it was' as deaconess and organising secretary she would be best known to the society. A vote of thanks to Mrs North for presiding was carried, and regret fixpresscd at her severance with the society through her approaching departure for India. Mrs North also expressed the regret she felt at. having to sever her connection with societies and friends with whom she had so long been associated in various work?.
