DUNEDIN". CUP MEETING.

The comm'ibtee ofthe club■ha.ve made satisfactory arrangements; with the railway department, for a suitable, time-table in connection with the Cup meeting. In. addition to the trains stopping at- intermediate stations, will run direct-from, town to the racecourse siding, and there will ads-o be three trains direct to Dunedin after the\ races. The fares are very reasonable, having been fixed as follows: Carriages, 2s 6d; seated waggons.f 2s. This al&o includes admission to the ground. The third day's races are still advertised for the 24th. This is on the distinct' understanding that they will be heM on that day if any unforeseen circumstance should prevent the departure of the contingent, but if the contingent have their send-off on that day the races will be postponed until Monday. 26th. Members of the fourth contingent, to the raunber of 160, will attend, mounted, on Cup day. The grand stand and other buildings will be gaily decorated with bunting on Cup day.
